"Banitis" offers:
- to go for a ride on a narrow gauge train, regularly running 3
times a day;
- to order a special trip for your festivities or other events.
To order shows, during which you can:
- enter into the spirit of a real railway adventure;
- take part in gypsy frolics;
- give way to goings-on of robbers and experience a visit to the
robbers’ camp;
- get familiar with the exquisite manners of the Soviet-time "bufetchitsas";
- enjoy some refreshments on the train and in the open air.
To participate in annual festivities organized on "Banitis":
- Saint Valentine’s Day in the "Cuddly Coach";
- Easter’s ride;
- Annual "Baniti’s" festival on the fi rst September Saturday;
- Saint Martin’s Day;
- Christmas awaiting and celebration events – from 14 December till
10 January.
Organization of corporative measures and tour guide services:
To visit Gulbene locomotive depot, where it is possible:
- to get a guided acquaintance tour;
- to take a ride with a hand-trolley;
- to look at the parlor car once used by Estonian Communist Party
leaders;
- for wedding guests to amuse themselves in the time between the
marriage ceremony and banquet;
- to visit the only Banitis sauna in Latvia;
- to sleep in the ascetic relaxation premises of locomotive crews or in the parlor car of Communist Party leaders.
